During a ceremony at the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), and in the presence of Minister Tengku Zafrul Aziz, Axel Cruau French Ambassador to Malaysia, Anne GENETET French Deputy, Jean-Bernard BOURA founder and managing director at Pen Aviation, Muhammad Asyraf Bin Mohd Niza Head of Group Operations at Pahang Aerospace City, Ascendance signed MoUs with:
Pen Aviation → to integrate the STERNA Hybrid Pack into UAVs, explore the sales and local distribution of ATEA, and study vertiport-to-vertiport use cases.Pahang
Aerospace City Development (PAC) → to evaluate opportunities for a hybrid propulsion competence center, local co-production, demonstration flights, and broader collaboration within Malaysia’s growing aerospace ecosystem.
These agreements are a major milestone in our international development, paving the way for local partnerships, new industrial opportunities, and the deployment of sustainable hybrid-electric aviation solutions in Southeast Asia.
